Blood clot in the
brain

- This occurs when bleeding takes
place between the brain and the skull. The blood then forms
a clot, which puts pressure on brain tissue, which in turn
affects the brain's
functions.

- Confusion
- Slow-thinking
- Personality changes
- Headaches (may come and go)
- Mild paralysis
- Brief episodes of extensive
paralysis may occur
- Brief episodes of speaking
difficulties may occur
- Seizures

- Head injury
- Minor head/or neck trauma
- Bleeding
problems
|
 |
- Corticosteroid medication may be
sufficient for some patients.
- Surgery removal of blood
clot
