The Guru Faces Paints Fear on Fear’s Face for a Laugh.

My people, it is time that you lend yourself to darkness and face your fears. It is only by doing this that you will be able to get over them and get on with the life you feel you should be living.

I have found that most people have these thoughts.

You must learn to conquer them and move forward, and not let anything stand in your way. I’ll show you how.

Fear

First, the notion that you are a shy person needs to be kicked to the curb. Being shy is just your lack of self confidence boiling over to social settings.

There is no such thing as a wrong decision. Each decision is something that you need to do and a step that you need to take in the cycle of life. The only thing that stops people from making that move is fear.

But a fear of what? Well, that can go case to case, but from what I have seen, it normally exists in two things:

1. Fear of Change
2. Fear of Failure.

There is no need to have fear of either because they are simply a part of life. They are realities. Instead of fearing them, know that change is constant. You are constantly changing and evolving.

When you go out, don’t worry about being outlandish or different from anyone else. Once you do it, you’ll see that you won’t die from embarrassment, and more than likely, you’ll be the hit of the party. Fear destroyed on that one.

Our memories are strung together in such a way that we react to a string of past experiences rather than what is before us. In many instances, we are not at all in touch with what we are doing - we are only acting on a memory.

Our lives are becoming echoes.

You must remove yourself from memory and start to make decisions based on what you feel. Do what is right for you.

You need to look fear in the face.

Dress up for it. And what do you do when you are looking at that bad boy in front of you who wants nothing more to see you crumble and shake when he rises up. Do you flex back? No, you smile.

Smiling is actually one of the first physical steps that you need to take in order to conquer fear. Why, because your mind follows the actions of your body. Yes my people, your Guru is telling you to fake it before you can make it, because you can actually trick your body into feeling happy by smiling. In the same regard, if you are slouched over and wearing a frown, you will more than likely stay in a state of fear.

Action cures fear.

Worrying about something is paralyzing and will lead you to a life of prescriptions. If you start to dwell on a negative thought or a fear, start doing something, anything else, immediately. Smoking, Drugs, Television and Junk Food do not count as doing something. Something constructive that makes you happy. Doing things for yourself in times of worry and doubt will free your mind from the pressure and allow for an easier decision making process.

Don’t be a middle of the road kind of person.

If you are walking in a group of people, step up to the front. Why do you want to be in the middle or in the back? That says something about your personality. If you are not afraid to stand out, to be in front, to speak first at a party, be the first one to karaoke, you will not be afraid of making the truly important decisions in life.

Look people in the eye. You can not only see your own fear reflected back to you, but you can see the other person’s as well, letting you know that everyone is just a human, and there is nothing really to be afraid of. You are fighting your memories, and the Guru is there with you.

Walking into fear with confidence it is what separates greatness from a mundane existence that leads to constant questioning and lack of confidence. This is living in fear, and it is no way to live.

Finally, when all is said and done, if you are afraid of something, ask yourself in a moment of sobriety, "Is this the right thing to do?" If it is, then do it. Following what you believe to be true is the ultimate in battling fear, but in order to achieve the ability to do that, you must take the steps outlined above. You must train yourself to learn.

Enjoy the journey.

The Guru is taking it up a notch.

Peace.

H.G.
